The Farm and Forest Festival at the Morningside Nature Center in Gainesville, FL
is an annual festival which represents a market day on an 1870's farm in rural
North Florida. Floridians in the 1870's had a tie to the land, both the
fields they tilled and the forest surrounding them. This festival
celebrates and honors the important cultural and historical contributions that
these early settlers made to Florida.
Freespirit Emporium participated in the 2006 Farm and Forest Festival for the
fourth consecutive year this year. Among other items available on our
website, we offered several varieties of our handcrafted soap for purchase by
visitors to the festival.
