Essential Oils are the volatile oils extracted from plant materials. Essential oils can be extracted via different methods, however, steam distillation is the primary method. My husband and I are very careful in our selection of Essential Oils. We do not sacrifice quality over price. It is for that reason we often spend a bit more for an Essential Oil we know to be of high quality. The Essential Oils we buy have been tested and approved for use in soaps, lotions and other toiletries. We love and use our products too, so you know we are going to take pride in what we make and what we make them with. If you have any questions or would like more information about any of the oils we use, please feel free to contact us. We would love to hear from you. We are constantly working on new products and formularies. Check back with us often to see what develops!

Fragrance Oils are blends of aroma components that are created to smell like the real thing. There is no need to combine with other scents to get truly rewarding results. Many fragrance oils are blended from essential oils, but because they are not guaranteed to be 100% essential oil they are called fragrance oils which means we can not call them 'all natural'. Freespirit Emporium only uses cosmetic grade fragrance oils. These oils have been tested and approved for use in soaps, lotions and other toiletries. Many of the scents we use in our soaps have been blended by us. By this I mean, we come up with wonderful fragrances by blending EO's and FO's together. Below is a list of some of our favorite essential oils and fragrance oils.
