Rose Quartz (named after its pink color) is often
crackled, usually a little turbid. Coloring agent is titanium. Deposits
are found in Brazil and Madagascar, as well as India, Mozambique, Namibia,
Sri Lanka, and the United States. Worked into cabochons, bead necklaces,
and ornamental pieces; only the larger clear stones can be faceted. Rose Quartz is usually translucent but may be
transparent. It attunes to energy of unconditional love and heals heart.
Rose Quartz also calms and reassures, bringing about deep inner healing.
It is written that Rose Quartz releases blockages from unexpressed
emotions, opens heart chakra, soothes wounded heart and internalized pain
